assew_header6

Southeastern Wisconsin Autistic Navigators (SWAN) is drop-in support/social group for adults on the autism spectrum which meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Adults on the spectrum who are able to self-regulate and independently participate in activities without the assistance of a caretaker are welcome to attend. This group is ideal for those looking to meet people, practice social skills and make connections with those in the adult autism community. SWAN is facilitated by Daysi Jiménez, Social Worker and a proud autism mom. This group is not intended to be therapy, but rather a safe space for adults to engage and make connections.

If you are joining us for the first time,  please  arrive at 6:00 p.m. if possible to have a few minutes of introduction with Daysi (the group facilitator) before the entire group gets there.

This group is for adults of all ages with high-functioning autism and Asperger Syndrome.

This group is facilitated by Daysi Jimenez, MSW, APSW. Daysi has served as as school social worker & is a parent with a child on the spectrum. Presently Daysi is employed by Roger’s Memorial Hospital & the Autism Society SE WI.
