Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance®
The Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance® held its 13th classic car shows weekend Aug. 5- 6, 2017 at Veterans Park. Over 6,000 attendees visited the separate showcased collections of collector vehicles over the two days featuring hundreds of stunning vehicles competing for senior awards. Proceeds from the 2017 event will benefit the nonprofit organization’s three chosen charities: Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Meta House. Since the event’s inception, they have donated more than $200,000 to improve the lives of children and families.
The 2017 Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance® weekend also featured the first-ever Autism Society SE WI Youth Enthusiast Teen Award to one of the car show participants at the annual Show & Glow By The Lake event. The award highlighted an opportunity for teamwork, communication and provided a socialization experience as local teens on the spectrum worked together to pick the winner. Jeff Cowie, owner of a 1978 Porsche 911SC specially prepared for the track is the 2017 winner. Visit milwaukeeconcours.com to learn more about this amazing event.
