Emilio will discuss individual’s rights and responsibilities during encounters with law enforcement and how to navigate them including at home and in school. Emilio is on the steering committee for the National Lawyers Guild of Milwaukee and for 14 years worked for the ACLU of Wisconsin on a wide variety of issues including rights of young people, police/community relations, immigration, voting rights and more. He is currently the Executive Director of the Milwaukee Turners. One of Wisconsin’s oldest civic and social groups.
