A-Team Fun Walk
The A-Team Fun Walk For Autism is a family friendly event where dedicated walkers, volunteers and sponsors raise money to help the Autism Society SE WI continue to provide programs, services and support within your community. As one of the largest autism family gatherings in the state, it’s also an amazing experience filled with activities, entertainment and the celebration of coming together to change the future for everyone affected by autism. Blue Lotus Farm and Retreat
Blue Lotus Farm and Retreat has 64 rural, beautiful acres with many accessible outdoor activities, like kayaking, hiking, and swimming. The Autism Society SE WI is looking forward to hosting a family outing on July 9, 2022. Details and registration information coming soon!

Cool Waters Water Park – Greenfield
This member-only event is a great way to help family members who are apprehensive about pools get used to having fun in the water in a safe environment.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cool Waters has suspended large group gatherings. We hope to continue this great event when it becomes available.

First Stage Sensory Friendly Productions
Enjoy a performance where families with children who need sensory accommodations can share the experience of seeing family-friendly theater. These performances feature a welcoming environment including lower sound, lights up, and available quiet areas staffed by educators experienced with the care of students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Holiday Cheer Event
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Autism Society SE WI had to pivot to virtual events in 2020 and 2021 in place of our typical in-person Holiday Party.
In 2021 we were able to make the holidays a little brighter for over 150 individuals with Autism at our Holiday Cheer Drive-Thru event. We celebrated with carolers and Santa, as our elves handed out gift bags of donated items, hot chocolate and holiday light show tickets.
Stay tuned for dates and details for the 2022 Holiday Cheer Event. We look forward to celebrating in-person again with crafts, treats, games, gifts, Santa and more.
Sensory Friendly Sundays at Germantown Community Library
Join the Germantown Community Library and the Autism Society SE WI as we open the library on select Sunday mornings for guests & families with special needs including Autism. Explore the Early Literacy Area, check out books & DVDs, learn about the free library programs & digital resources.
This great program is for anyone that has ever needed a modified library environment for their family. You do not need to live in Germantown to participate or to qualify for a free library card. All WI residents are welcome.

When: 9-10 a.m. – private library time, 10:00 a.m. – noon themed activities for guests of all ages.

SOAR Airport Rehearsal Program
The SOAR program is an airport rehearsal program designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families, and aviation professionals. The goal of SOAR is to alleviate some of the stress that people with disabilities and their families experience when traveling by air. It includes a MKE unique social story that participant families review before the big rehearsal day.

Sunburst Family Outing
Join the Autism Society SE WI for a day of fun in the sun while snow tubing at Sunburst Winter Sports Park in Kewaskum. Families can purchase discounted $5 tickets per tuber and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate in the warming barn during the event.
