The Autism Ball

Once again, the beautiful Wisconsin Club in downtown Milwaukee will be the setting for our elegant annual fundraiser. Save the date: Saturday, March 27th, 2010. The evening features fine dining, great live music, an extensive silent auction and more.

This is one of our major fundraisers, providing many of the dollars to continue our organization’s mission of support, information, and awareness about autism spectrum disorders.

We couldn’t do it without the enthusiastic support of members, volunteers, the Board, the staff, donors, sponsors… and if you aren’t already, we’d love for you to get involved, too!

Donate a silent auction item or basket and ask local businesses, family, and friends to do the same - this is a great way for them to promote!

Our silent auction is a big hit at the Ball and a primary source of the funds raised. Gift baskets are very popular - pick a theme and be creative! Popular items that attendees love to bid on include gift certificates to spas, salons, and restaurants, hotel getaway packages, and sport event and theatre tickets.

Are you a business owner or do you work for a company that wants to do good and promote business? Reach over 200 Ball attendees as well as the local autism community! Donate an item or an assortment of items and send along some business cards by the February 19th deadline and the business will be recognized in our auction booklet and other Ball promotions.

Ask your employer to sponsor a table.

Businesses and individuals may sponsor tables, which include reservations for eight guests and sponsorship recognition. Silver Sponsorship is $1200, Gold Sponsorship is $2000, and Platinum Sponsorship is $5000.

Attend! You’ll have a ball!

The Ball is an elegant, entertaining night of delicious food, great live music, dancing, and exciting silent auctions!  Individual tickets are $100 per person. Email info@assew.org or call 414-427-9345 for an invitation.

Volunteer your time.

We can always use more help with pre-event projects, picking up donations, auction set-up, registration, staffing of the auction tables and assistance with event wrap-up.
