Summer Sibshops co-sponsored by the Autism Society and Easter Seals Kindcare will be held at Holler Park, 5151 S 6^th St., Milwaukee 53221 The dates are June 28, July 12 and August 9, all Saturdays, from 9am to noon.

Seclusion and Restraint Survey. Disability Rights Wisconsin and WI FACETS are conducting a survey to gather stories regarding seclusion and restraint experiences. Cover letter and Survey are available, please download these forms and send them in.

Dylan's Run/Walk for Autism will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2008.

AUTISM BALL

The Autism Ball was held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Wisconsin Club. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful event!

GOLF

Golf Classic at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine was held Monday, June 2nd, 2008. Thanks to everyone who supported us and made this event so successful.

OUR MISSION

ASSEW's mission is to support people with autism spectrum disorders, their families, professionals, and others, by sharing information, supporting research, providing networking opportunities and promoting awareness through education and training.

ASSEW has been in existence for over 25 years and is currently an Autism/PDD resource for the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Dodge, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Walworth and Washington counties. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations to ASSEW are deductible as prescribed by IRS regulations.

ASSEW Services:

	Information and Referral- Autism, PDD-nos, and Asperger Syndrome information provided to parents, professionals and the public.
	Networking Opportunities- Workshops, presentations and parent-to-parent forums.
	The Parenting Series - monthly meetings during the school year with expert speakers on topics our members request.
	Monthly Support Groups- Connect with others and share information and experiences.
