Volunteer
We are a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers getting involved so we can offer support and information to our member families and the general community.
There are numerous opportunities for you to contribute your time and talents! Here are the current ones:
Help kids learn to ride a two-wheeler.
Each summer, the Autism Society and the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin team up to bring the Lose The Training Wheels program to our area. We need volunteers who can run alongside the campers on their bikes. This is a great service project for High School Students if you can commit to a 2-hour slot for five consecutive days.
Contact us for more information on how you can help a special kid Lose The Training Wheels.
Help out with family swim sessions.
We are looking for someone to set up family swim sessions for our members. We already have a volunteer setting up special movie showings for our families. We think it’d be fun to have an occasional open swim, too. Please give us a call if you can spend a little time on finding a pool and working out details.
DYLAN’S RUN
This year, Dylan’s Run to Indian Summer is scheduled for September 13th. If you are interested in helping out at the event, please contact us. We need help with people on site to time the runners, assist on the course directing participants, staffing water stations, and in many more areas.
