April Parenting Series provides on planning for the long run
Planning for the financial future of your child or other dependent with special needs can be a complicated process. It is important, however, to plan for their care and continued quality of life when you are no longer around. The MetLife Center for Special Needs Planning was established in 1998 as a public service to families with children or other dependents with special needs.
The Center’s purpose is to assist families through the maze of legal and financial complexities surrounding planning for the future. Special Needs Planners can help guide parents through the process and achieve the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have planned appropriately for your child. Robert Johnston, who is both a Special Needs Planner with MetLife and the parent of a child with an autism spectrum disorder, will be going over the basics of special needs financial planning at the April 17th Parenting Series session, 9:30-11:30 in the D-Wing Library of Nicolet High School in Glendale. The session is free, but we ask that you register in advance so we know how many to expect. Email your name and phone number to info@assew.org or call the office at 414-427-9345.
Refreshments are served. Child care is not provided
